It's said that the eye of the storm is calm, peaceful, quiet. I wanted to know that peace. The idea of being able to have peace through hard seasons of life is something I continue to live by and pray for.

My intention for my collectors for this painting is to be reminded of this promise given to us. There is always peace available, even in the eye of the storm.

John 16:33  "And everything I've taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but I have conquered the world!"
